This is the story of Henry Wan from Kenya. In january 1995 he was a promising young talent with a potentially very successful athletic career, when he woke up blind one day. Now he’s defending his title for the third time in a row in the upcoming Paralympics.

In Kenya female genital mutilation is still practiced in some tribes. Makena visited a brave young girl who refused to be circumcised and got banned from her village because of this.
