What is your image of Holland?
I have been in Holland once, I think it was two years ago. They were showing my documentary at a symposium at Leiden University and I had the chance of experiencing everything. I was in Amsterdam on Queen’s day. I stayed with a lovely Dutch family. This was my first trip out of my country and maybe that’s why it is completely unforgettable.
What is your favourite spot to be?
My favourite spot is anywhere in South America.
If you would be able to export a characteristic of your country, what would it be?
I don’t know what I would export. Maybe the Iranian film maker Abbas Kiarostami.
If you could change something in your country, what would it be?
I want freedom for my country and all the young people around me.
Who are you hoping to be the next president of the United States?
I think Obama would be the president of the USA.
What are you doing ten years from now?
Ten years from now, I will be still making movies and I will be travelling all the time. I guess I must have seen a lot of countries by then.
