A blind village in Peru
The small Peruvian village Paran is known for its sweet peaches, but also for the rare disease "Retinitis Pigmentosa". This disease reduce your vision until you are blind. Of the 300 residents, 60 have this disease. "They say that we have inherited it from our ancestors, maybe they have done something wrong and are punished by God," said the blind Mauro.
